Decipher Desert

Hot winds blow the sands of the desert into your eyes, obscuring your vision. When the sandstorm clears, you see a small oasis just ahead. You rush in to drink its refreshing waters, though you feel like you are being watched. A desert frog looks back at you. It surprisingly croaks “14, 22, 1, 15, 11, 10, 16” and hops into a nearby bush. You push aside the branches to discover a series of ceramic tiles set in the ground in a grid, some of which bear etchings of numbers. You quickly realize that each number represents a different letter of the alphabet, and by decoding these numbers, you will find a series of interlocking words and phrases in the grid. And in doing so, you should find the meaning behind the frog’s mysterious message.
